Tony started O’Mahony cycles in August 1988 on Sexton street, where the shop still is today. That gives us thirty years in bike experience, ensuring the bikes we rent are suitable and very well maintained. Initially having trained as a chef, Siobhan hung up her apron and started the Nursery side of the business 18 years ago, thereby extending us to O’ Mahony cycles & Nursery. Both Tony and Siobhan are very sporty, with Tony a keen kayaker, having kayaked around Ireland in 2007, and completing an ironman after that. Having had three young children themselves, they understand the expense renting bikes can be for families, so we try to keep prices to a minimum, to be sure to email/call for a price for a larger family.
